Pencil shavings are revealed at the bottom. The logo is drawn with the sharpened pencil.

The Secretary' mug

Lipstick is left around the rim. The logo has a typing error.

'The Student'

A fly is printed inside. The spelling is corrected by the tutor.

'The Thief' mug

Fingerprints look as if they have been dusted by forensics. The logo is a typographical play of the thief stealing the letter 'e' form 'the'.
