An identity package for The Parcel Yard...

We delivered: Logo / Bespoke stamps / Menus / Launch postcard

Brief

The Parcel Yard is a new Fuller’s Gastropub occupying a Listed building formerly used as the parcels office at King’s Cross Station.

With a large atrium and original period features, the interior had many reminders of its previous postal role. To reflect this heritage, the new gastropub needed a coherent, credible graphic identity.

We were asked to create a logo, menus, social media skins and launch invitations in time for the grand opening.

Solution

Reflecting The Parcel Yard’s heritage, we designed a logo based on a Post Office cancellation mark, redesigned to resemble parallel railway lines.

We also created a set of stamps featuring a cockerel to represent breakfast, a domed silver platter for dining and an elegant nose for the wine list. Continuing the postal theme, the menus are printed on manila envelope paper.

Staying true to the design theme, we delivered all the elements of the identity on time.

Results

The identity was immediately appreciated by customers and other Fuller’s marketing managers. It also gained a prestigious Silver award at the 2012 ‘Fresh Awards’.

We continue to work with Fuller’s on other identity projects.
